We finished the IO1

Intellectual Output 1 lays the foundations for the rest of the project as it develops the overall learning  approach, learning objectives, competence matrix, curriculum and assessment methods based upon an evidence- and research-based analysis related to the core skills and competences It includes the analysis of the project context and scans the participating countries for relevant examples of social enterprises in the targeted food, gastronomic and culinary sector, as well as a full mapping of the training landscape.

In the frame of the IO1 partners carried out a questionnaire and desk research, followed by the preparation of the skills and competence framework. Based the framework, Hungarian partner KONTAKT elaborated the Training Landscape. The aim of the 4th Activity of IO1 “Mapping the training landscape” is to identify the training gaps of current programme with regards to the skills and competences as defined earlier, it is necessary to analyse and map the current training landscape with regards to social entrepreneurship, the gastronomic, culinary and food sector and co-creation, co-sharing and collaborative approaches. Partners identified professional training offers by academic and VET bodies as well as continuous training activities (e.g. summer schools or specialisation courses).

The final document of the IO1 was the Learning approach and curriculum. It can serve as a basis for the rest of the project as it developed the overall learning approach, learning objectives, skills and competence matrix, curriculum and assessment methods based upon evidence- and research-based analysis related to the core skills and competences. During the research, we analysed the project context and scanned the participating countries for relevant examples of social enterprises in the targeted food, gastronomic and culinary sector, and we mapped the training landscape. During the next month our focus will be the development of the curriculum. Almost 20 units were defined and all partners are working on them at the moment.
